NexGen CEOs Roundtable 2026 Brings Future Industry Leaders Together in Bangkok
Emerging leaders from across the textile and apparel sector gathered in Bangkok today for the inaugural NexGen CEOs Roundtable 2026, a platform designed to foster dialogue, collaboration, and leadership among the next generation of industry decision-makers.
Held on the sidelines of the Global Sourcing Summit 2026 and the 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 (Textiles & Apparel) at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center, the roundtable brought together young executives and industry stakeholders to discuss the future of sourcing, manufacturing, trade, innovation, and supply chain development across Asia and beyond.
Organizers emphasized the importance of involving future industry leaders in shaping the next phase of growth and transformation for the global textile and apparel sector, noting that meaningful industry progress requires the active participation of the next generation.
The discussions focused on opportunities and challenges facing the industry, including evolving sourcing strategies, technological innovation, sustainability, global competitiveness, and the development of resilient supply chains. Participants exchanged ideas and perspectives aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing the industry's long-term growth.
The NexGen CEOs Roundtable 2026 is a joint initiative of the International Apparel Federation (IAF) and CEMS-Global USA. The Bangkok edition was supported by the National Federation of Thai Textile Industries (NFTTI) and the Thai Garment Manufacturers Association (TGMA).
The Bangkok edition of the roundtable was chaired by Mr. Chalumpon Lotharukpong, Chairman of TGMA, who led discussions among participants representing diverse segments of the textile and apparel value chain.
According to organizers, the roundtable served as a catalyst for new partnerships, fresh ideas, and greater regional cooperation among emerging industry leaders. They expressed confidence that the conversations initiated in Bangkok would continue to contribute to the development of a smarter, more resilient, and more connected global textile and apparel ecosystem.
The NexGen CEOs Roundtable was held as part of the broader Global Sourcing Summit 2026 and the 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 (Textiles & Apparel), which are taking place from June 3-5, 2026, at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center, Bangkok.
