Bangkok to Host 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 & First Global Sourcing Summit

Bangkok is set to host the 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 (Textiles & Apparel) alongside the inaugural Global Sourcing Summit 2026 from June 3 to 5 at the IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center, positioning Thailand as a key gateway for global textile and apparel sourcing.

Organised by CEMS-Global USA, the twin events aim to establish Thailand as a strategic hub for international sourcing, policy dialogue, and cross-border collaboration. The platforms are being developed as the first global, multi-country textile and apparel sourcing marketplace of its scale in Thailand.

Asia Sourcing 2026 will integrate the 2nd Asian International Apparel Sourcing Show and the 2nd Asian International Yarn & Fabric Sourcing Show, bringing together manufacturers from across the textile value chain - from yarn and fabric producers to finished apparel, trims, accessories, and textile technology providers.

The event is being held in partnership with the International Apparel Federation (IAF) and the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX). Supporting organisations include the National Federation of Thai Textile Industries (NFTTI), Thailand Textile Institute (THTI), and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).

As the global textile industry undergoes major structural shifts driven by supply chain diversification, changing trade alliances, regional trade blocs, and nearshoring strategies, Asia has emerged as the epicentre of manufacturing and sourcing.

The 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 is designed to respond to this transformation by creating a unified marketplace that connects Asian manufacturers with buyers from South and Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, the Far East, and Australasia.

The exhibition will feature leading Asian apparel exporters, yarn and fabric suppliers, trims and accessories producers, and textile machinery innovators. Organisers said the platform will offer networking forums, knowledge sessions, and business matchmaking opportunities to facilitate new partnerships.

Running concurrently, the first-ever Global Sourcing Summit 2026 will bring together global federations, policymakers, brands, sourcing executives, and industry leaders to discuss emerging sourcing corridors, technological transformation, sustainability, and regional trade cooperation.

Delivering the opening address, S S Sarwar, Group CEO of CEMS-Global USA & Asia-Pacific, outlined the vision behind the Asia Sourcing Show and the Global Sourcing Summit. He emphasised the importance of positioning Bangkok as a strategic sourcing gateway for Asia and highlighted the role of multi-country sourcing platforms in strengthening global supply chain resilience.

Duangdej Yuaikwarmdee, director of TCEB, in his special address, spoke about Thailand’s MICE strategy and the country’s support for international trade exhibitions and investment promotion.

From the industry perspective, Jumnong Nawasmittawong, Thailand chief of AFTEX, stressed the importance of ASEAN collaboration and deeper regional supply chain integration to strengthen Asia’s position in global textile sourcing.

Chanchai Sirikasemlert, executive director of THTI, highlighted innovation and sustainability as key drivers of Thailand’s textile industry transformation and outlined opportunities for Thai manufacturers through participation in the show.

Suthee Kositwongsakul, secretary general of NFTTI, addressed the industry outlook and underscored the role of Thai manufacturers and private sector engagement in the evolving Asia sourcing ecosystem.

Organisers said the twin platforms aim to showcase Thai manufacturers and brands to international buyers while strengthening regional trade ties and fostering long-term industry collaboration.
